Thursday, March 19, 2020   General Letter to Tenants/ Occupants from Attwood Homes.  Good day, In the wake of the chaos that is our world at the moment we felt it was important to reach out. Jason and the group feel very blessed to have the tenants that we do and we encourage you to be safe and healthy during these absolutely crazy times. There have been many announcements in the news that continue to be released daily regarding the increasing need to practice social distancing.  This has created an immediate economic impact to everyone with supply chain shortages, temporary business closures, resulting layoffs and job losses being triggered in masses.  These are ever changing uncertain times for everyone that can cause fears. Standardizing a portfolio

Standardizing a portfolio With our portfolio we try to standardize as much as possible. There are some things which you can get away with doing a cheap fix, but remember quality wins every time and saves money in the long-term.  My latest standardization was the the dreaded shower faucet. WARNING -This isn't for the average DIYer. I can't stand the old washer style faucets.  So, you want to change the faucet and the tenant is still in the property or you just don't want to do a full out bathroom renovation. I already removed the knobs and spout as I didn't have much time. Home Depot sells this awesome chrome bracket/plate that will allow a big enough hole to remove and reinstall a faucet of your choice. Our faucet of choice is the Moen single handle faucet as I keep both cartridges and removal tool in my truck and change them out with every turnover. For me to do the reno:  3 hr repair (not a pro... lol) approx $200    ...
